Recap: Sweet Dee's Jerk Launch Party

Recap: Sweet Dee's Jerk Launch Party

What a way to kick off the next chapter! On Thursday 15th June, we joined 200+ friends, family, partners and industry guests from the Sweet Dee’s Jerk community to celebrate our official relaunch at the stunning White City House.

We finally unveiled our new look and name at the event, displaying the revamped logo and branding throughout the venue decor, from the menus, DJ booth, stage pillars, balloons and our own photobooth! The bright, bold and friendly colours from our new branding radiated the room and set the scene nicely as all our people arrived.
To give people a taste of our unique New-Gen British-Caribbean cuisine, we served an array of mouth-watering dishes, including jerk chicken wings, plantain, mini patties, saltfish fritters and more. To wash it all down, we curated our own signature rum cocktails in collaboration with Wray & Nephews, from ‘Sweet Dee’s Punch’ to ‘The Real Ting’, serving up refreshing, tropical and sweet flavours.

The Caribbean-inspired menu was a hit and crowd favourites were definitely the Chicken Wings and Sweet Dee’s Punch (naturally)!

In addition to the food, we had an amazing DJ line-up with Selecta Suave supplying the tunes for the evening. From nodding heads, to bodies swaying, legs’a shaking and hips moving, everyone danced the night away to the beats of RnB, Hip Hop, Reggae and Dancehall. It was an exciting and buzzing atmosphere with good energy and pure vibes, because that’s what we do best (aside from our food of course).

As the night progressed and the food, drinks, and music flowed, our sibling founders Troy, Jarrell and Shola took to the stage to thank everyone for coming and shared the story behind the rebrand. They spoke about their passion for Caribbean food and culture, and their commitment to creating a brand that embodied those values. The crowd erupted with applause, cheers and tears, making it a heartwarming moment to see the genuine love and support from everyone in the room, as the founders talked about elevating the business to new heights.

Overall, the launch event was a huge success. We hope everyone left with full bellies and happy hearts. The night was filled with good vibes, great food, and plenty of fun, and it was a testament to the power of community and culture.

We are excited to see what the future holds for Sweet Dee's Jerk and can't wait to share more with our amazing community!
