What an extraordinary journey this year has been! First and foremost, we want to express our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you for the overwhelming love, support, and patience you've extended to the SDJ family throughout the past year. We began the year as Juici Jerk, like we have every year for the past 6 years - but this year for the first time ever we are ending it as Sweet Dee’s Jerk.
Even though many of you have grown to love and recognise Juici Jerk, the reception of our rebrand within our community has been nothing short of phenomenal. We cannot wait for the opportunity to unveil the exciting developments we have in store for this new chapter.
Every day, our actions pay homage to the profound influence in our lives—our father, 'Mr. Sweet Dee,' Derek Johnson. His spirit resonates in everything we do, becoming the guiding force behind our endeavours.
Reflecting on the past year, 2023 has undeniably been our most monumental yet. We tried new things, made more mistakes but stayed committed to bringing you a true, authentic experience. We broke down more barriers, served some of the world's biggest brands, and established ourselves as pioneers in offering the next generation of Caribbean cuisine in London—it's been an exhilarating ride.
As we usher in 2024, a truly special year awaits the SDJ family. We're excited to share that we'll soon be returning to our South London roots where it all began (stay tuned wink) and bringing you even more of the unique essence that defines our brand.
